15th December 2016
This webinar discussed the first results of a year-long study undertaken by Cardiff University and the Sustainable Food Cities Network involving over 100 sector experts and practitioners. The result is a toolbox providing evidence of impact of place-based approaches to food against key health, economic and environmental outcomes and their indicators of progress. Based on the Sustainable Food Cities' model and examples of best practice, the tool is intended to:
1- provide local authorities and other key stakeholders with a clear and robust collation of evidence and indicators of success;
2- help both existing and interested 'practitioners' to secure support, plan, implement, monitor and evaluate the impact of their sustainable food programmes.
