As of the 1st December 2024, we've entered a new phase of funded work, and therefore we've had a bit of a team re-gig. The Sustainable Food Places Programme is now made of six partners, instead of three; The Soil Association, Sustain, Food Matters, Food Sense Wales, Nourish Scotland, and Nourish Northern Ireland.
From the Soil Association we have our Programme Manager Leon Ballin, and Project Officer Syama Wynn (who is taking over both the work of the Network Coordination from Andrea Gibbons, and the Communications from Mara Galeano Carraro).
Andrea Gibbons will go on to continue working at the Soil Association on their Innovative Organic Entrepreneurs Programme.
Mara Galeano Carraro will be taking a career break to move to Italy and have a baby, before deciding on her next moves!
From Food Matters we continue to have Ben Messer and Callum Etches. Ben will continue his brilliant work on Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI), and Callum will continue as our Evaluation and Research whizz.
From Sustain we've managed to retain the wonderful Vera Zakharov who will continue supporting on Campaigns and Local Action.
Lily O'Mara Adembesa will be going on to do a fellowship with the Bertha Foundation.
From Food Sense Wales, we will mainly be working with Pearl Costello, who will also sit on our board.
From Nourish Scotland, we will continue working with Simon Kenton-Lake, who will also sit on our board.
From Nourish Northern Ireland, we will continue working with Kerry Melville, who will also sit on our board.
