Get ready for the Leeds Food Strategy Action Plan Workshop!

At the heart of this strategy is our vision for Leeds to have a vibrant food economy where everyone can access local, healthy, and affordable food that is produced in ways that improve our natural environment and embrace new techniques and technologies.

Now that the city has agreed an ambitious vision for food, it is time for citywide action to make it happen. The council is already progressing some of this work behind-the-scenes, but the most impactful actions will require creative ideas and actions that can only come about through true partnership working. We need your help.

Leeds City Council and FoodWise Leeds are therefore hosting an event on Monday 10th July, 09:00 to 12:30 to kick-start collaborative action.

Our workshop is designed to bring together food enthusiasts, business owners, and community leaders to collaborate on a comprehensive food strategy action plan for the city. Together, we'll explore innovative ideas and best practices to promote sustainable food systems, reduce food waste, and improve access to healthy and affordable food options.

During the workshop, you'll have the opportunity to hear from expert speakers, participate in interactive breakout sessions, and engage in lively discussions with other attendees. This workshop is the perfect opportunity to get involved and make a difference in your community.

Join us on Mon Jul 10 2023 at 09:00 am at Civic Hall, Portland Crescent entrance, Leeds, LS1 1UR for a day filled with exciting discussions, networking, and planning for the future of food in Leeds.
