Everton Pantry open for business. Everton Pantry.

Tools and tips for growing more sustainable community food enterprises and the role of social investors in the community food space.

Sustain are launching a new toolkit to help community food projects that wish to develop more sustainable enterprising models, and explore the role of social investors in growing the sector.

Over the last 12 months, Sustain’s Connecting Community Food Enterprises project, funded by the Barrow Cadbury Trust, learned from a network of community food projects and produced resources to support community food projects to develop more sustainably, including emergency food aid providers that wish to transition to trading models.

Working in partnership with Brighton and Hove Food Partnership; Bury Voluntary, Community and Faith Alliance; Feedback Liverpool, Waltham Forest Food Partnership and Greenwich Cooperative Development Agency, we have brought community food enterprises together to learn from each other, access training and discuss challenges and opportunities.

This webinar will promote learnings from this project as well as information, resources and tips from the toolkit, case studies from some of our partners, and insight into working with social investors.
